Released in the early 90s by the Hop Research Institute in Huell, Germany, Spalter Select was developed to hit the flavor and aroma profile of Spalt, while increasing yield and disease resistance. Spalter Select is a great classic German Lager hop.
Aroma: Spicy hoppy notes with light Floral and Citrus undertones.
