Description

Bred by the Hop Research Institute and released in 2002, Saphir was developed to have classic noble hop characteristics while increasing disease resistance and yield.  Reminiscent of Mittelfruh, Saphir combines noble characteristics with light notes of berry and tangerine. With its high Linalool content it makes for a wonderful dry hop addition to pils!

Aroma: Intense Citrus, Berry, Tangerine and Pleasant Floral notes.
