Description

“Riwaka™” the Unicorn of hops! You can’t say “New Zealand Hops” in your beer unless you have Riwaka™. The other great sister next to Motueka™ and the daughter to the coveted Saazer line. It was released from the Plant and Food Hop Research Center in 1997. The pure weight of the oil character experienced during selection carries right through to the glass. A punchy addition of Grapefruit and Passion Fruit make it a an almost super Citra® in IPAs, but can be used in new world styles of Pales Ale and Pilsners. Riwaka is a bold fruity hop variety suitable for big styles as well.
