Description

Motueka™ hops are a crowd favorite aroma hop. Motueka™ is a triploid variety developed at the Plant and Food research facility in New Zealand. Motueka™ is one of the two great sisters developed from Saazer as part of the Hops with a difference program. Motueka™ is a great growing and producing hop, growing long side arms that sometimes make picking a bit difficult. Motueka™ brings a Millennial flare to traditional pilsners, but its exceptional oil amounts make it a wonderful work horse hop in IPA’s. Its best suited for Whirlpool additions and even Bio Hopping with its extravagant amount of Geraniol.

Aroma: Distinctive fresh crushed Citrus “Mojito” Lime character, Sprite / 7 up, unique Orange Crush and/or Fanta like flavors, with Tropical fruit and pleasant Floral undertones.
