Description

Mandarina Bavaria is a relatively new German hop with a pleasant fruitiness and very distinctive tangerine and citrus notes. The variety was bred at Hüll and was released 2012 in response to demand from the craft beer industry and its desire for bold tastes and differentiating flavors. Another daughter to Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria is a phenomenal growing hop and a highlight as one of the latest harvested aroma varieties. Its rich and vibrant flavors help to give it an edge that many other hops strive to match. It makes for an amazing complimentary hop for highly hopped beers or on its own in lightly hopped beers.

Aroma: Tangerine, Sunny Delight, Mandarin Orange, Sweet Fruits and Slightly Floral.
