Description

Mackinac™ was a top performer in the Great Lakes Hops Breeding program and was released in 2014. A sister to Copper and Chinook that shows good disease resistance and better pest resistance then its sisters. This could be impart to its slightly slower growth habit that helps it produce more cones that are larger and denser in production. This hop does extremely well in Session IPA's, Pale Ales, American Lagers and Blonde Ales. Its delicious flavor components are mild and sometimes compared to GR Mandarina Bavaria in potency.

Aromas: Tropical Fruit, Papaya, Clemintine, Sweet Floral notes.
