Description

Diamant is a new high end aroma variety developed by the Hop Research Center in Hull, Germany. It was approved and released in 2020. Diamant shows much better growing characteristics than the older landrace hops with climate change. Typically used in late boil additions, Diamant is a suitable variety for lager beers with fine hop aroma. Diamant is known to be similar to that of Saaz and compared to it’s Mother “Spalter” in terms of growth performance.

Aromas: Light Floral, Citrus and Hoppy like flavors.
